Roof Replacement

A New Roof, Done Once and Done Right.

When repairs stop making sense, replacement is the honest answer. We tear off the old roof, inspect and repair the deck, and install a complete new system — underlayment, flashing, ventilation, and finish material — with every line of it spelled out in a written proposal before we start.

When Replacement Beats Repair

  • Your roof is at or past the end of its material’s service life
  • Leaks keep coming back in different places
  • Underlayment has failed under tile — the tile may be fine, the waterproofing isn’t
  • You’re selling and the roof is the deal’s biggest question mark
  • Storm, fire, or age damage is spread across multiple slopes

What A Mars Replacement Includes

Deck-first tear-off

We remove the old system down to the deck and inspect every sheet. Rotten or delaminated decking gets replaced before anything new goes down — never roofed over and forgotten.

New underlayment

The real waterproofing on most Southern California roofs. We install modern underlayment rated for the material above it.

Flashing and details

Valleys, vents, chimneys, skylights, and wall transitions get new metal and proper sealing. Most leaks live at details, not in the field of the roof.

Ventilation

A roof that can’t breathe cooks its own material and your attic with it. We check and correct intake and exhaust as part of the system.

Your material, your call

Tile, architectural shingle, or flat/TPO systems. We’ll walk you through the honest trade-offs for your house, your budget, and how long you plan to stay. See our tile roofs, shingle roofs, and flat & TPO pages.

How It Works

  1. Inspection — We get on the roof, photograph what we find, and tell you plainly whether you need replacement, repair, or nothing yet. Standard inspections are $300.
  2. Written proposal — Materials, scope, deck-repair allowances, and warranty terms in writing. Combined pricing — no games, no day-one change orders.
  3. Build — Our own crews, one supervisor, daily cleanup. Most homes are torn off, dried in, and finished on a tight, communicated schedule.
  4. Walkthrough — We walk the finished roof with you and hand over photos and documentation for your records — and your insurer or buyer down the road.

Not Sure You Need A Full Replacement?

Plenty of roofs that “need replacing” according to a sales pitch actually need $800 of honest repair — and plenty of roofs being patched every year should have been replaced two leaks ago. We’ll tell you which one yours is. Read the roof cost guide or look at sample estimates to see how our proposals read.
