Tile Roofs Are Our Home Turf.
Southern California runs on tile — and tile roofs fail in a specific way most homeowners never hear about: the tile lasts 50 years, but the underlayment waterproofing under it doesn’t. We diagnose tile roofs honestly and fix the layer that’s actually failing.

The Tile Roof Fact Most People Learn Late
Clay and concrete tile is a watershed system — it sheds most of the rain, but wind-driven water gets under it on every storm. The underlayment beneath is what actually keeps your home dry, and it typically wears out decades before the tile does. That’s why a tile roof can look perfect from the street and leak like a sieve: the visible part is fine, the waterproof part is done.

A Word On Tile Weight
Tile is heavy, and switching a home built for composition shingles to tile — or from lightweight to standard-weight tile — can require structural evaluation. As a contractor holding A and B licenses, we’ll flag it if your structure needs a closer look instead of quietly loading your roof. That’s the difference between a roofing salesperson and a general contractor who roofs.
